GLSA continues to monitor closely the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and its impact on our community and its members. The health and well-being of our members and their families remains our highest priority. Generally, GLSA is following the lead of U.S. Soccer Federation, United States Youth Soccer, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our local communities.
Effectively immediately, all GLSA administered activities including training sessions, referee clinics, and the recreational program’s uniform pick-up are suspended through March 29th. LTSC will be closed through March 29th. GLSA will be evaluating conditions on a bi-weekly basis to determine when it is appropriate to resume club activities.
The individual teams administer all indoor league play. If any games remain scheduled, the decision to play remains with the individual teams and the respective leagues.
If any tournaments, showcases, or other activities that GLSA and its members are scheduled to participate in this 2020 spring season are canceled, postponed, or rescheduled, GLSA will keep those teams informed of any developments.
Please note, opening day for the GLSA Recreational Program is April 18, moved from the original date of April 11, and will play through May 30. The program will not play over Memorial Day Weekend.
