General Participation Requirements
Registration is required for all athletes participating in rowing at CBRC.
- Each rower is required to register online before participating in each rowing season.
- Athletes must also hold a current USRowing membership, have their member number available, and sign a USRowing online waiver.
- Finally, please sign and submit the Declaration of Swimming Ability.
Summer Season Registration and Fees
The season fee covers club operating costs, including practice costs, coaching, payroll taxes, launch gas, repair costs, registration fees, insurance, etc.
Additional Fees
The season fee does not include the following:
- A USRowing membership
- Team Clothing Fees (variable)
- Participation in the Greenlake Summer Regatta
USRowing Membership
A USRowing membership is required for participation in rowing at CBRC.
Parent Volunteer Commitment
Volunteering is essential to the success of all of our programs at CBRC. We rely heavily on our parents to keep our Juniors program running well.
Parents are in charge of running the team tent at regattas, fundraising, and coordinating travel. All parents are expected to volunteer to help keep the team operating smoothly
Parents are expected to help with at least one CBRC event or committee, for example: manning the food tent at regattas.
Youth Rowing Scholarships
Anyone who wants to row should be able to do so, regardless of background or economic circumstance.
CBRC's mission is to build community, confidence, and excellence through rowing, and we are committed to making rowing more accessible to area youth. Please see our Youth Rowing Scholarship page for more information.
Youth of color and those facing socio-economic barriers are encouraged to apply for scholarship support through the George Pocock Rowing Foundation (GPRF). The GPRF processes all scholarship applications via an on-line scholarship application form:
