US Rowing Membership Page
What's required for rowing at CBRC?
CBRC requires that each participant in our adult rowing programs has a US Rowing Basic membership along with the PLUS REGATTA and has signed an online US Rowing waiver. This is primarily for liability and insurance reasons. This is required for participating in all US Rowing sanctioned regattas.
US Rowing Membership:
All CBRC participants are required to be Basic Plus Regatta members of US Rowing
The current cost of this Basic membership is $15 and the Plus Regatta add on is $40 for those 27 and older $25 for younger rowers (age 26 and under).
Paid memberships are good for one year from the month of purchase.
Waiver:
The US Rowing Liability waiver is a separate but related component to US Rowing membership. It proves you are covered under USRowing liability insurance and understand the risks of the sport.
You must complete an online US Rowing waiver in order to participate in CBRC Programs.
You'll be prompted to sign the waiver whenever you create a new membership or renew an existing Championship membership.
Waivers expire with the calendar year and not a year from the date you created/renewed your membership. So once a calendar year you'll need to go in and sign your waiver. Likely your coach will prompt you to get this done!
How can I create/renew my membership and sign my waiver?
US Rowing has a one stop shop for most of your membership and waiver needs online here.
From the US Rowing membership page you can:
- Renew your membership
- Sign your waiver
- Become a new member
- Retrieve past membership numbers
If all you need to do is sign your waiver you can use the US Rowing Online Waiver to sign.
