OUR IMPACT LEADERSHIP

Our competitive program is led by a dynamic group of directors, each of whom bring experience and a unique skill set to the club. They have played successfully at the youth, college and professional levels.

PROFESSIONAL COACHES

Our professional coaches are enthusiastic and dedicated to youth soccer. They have a wide array of knowledge and experiences to share and strive to develop our players to become great soccer players and good citizens. Our coaches have played in international and professional leagues; others have coached at the high school level.  All of our coaches carry a United States Soccer Federation license of "E" or above.  At La Jolla Impact, we strive to provide a competitive soccer experience that encourages our youth to play at their best while having fun.  Please visit COACHES page for more information about Impact’s professional coaching staff.

COMPETITIVE SOCCER SEASON

Depending on the league and age bracket, the league season can start as early as mid-August and run until Thanksgiving.  However, tournament play covers much of the rest year.  Teams at lower play levels may play two pre-season (June, July or August) and one post-season tournament (Dec or Jan.)  Teams playing at a higher-level may have more-intense schedules with tournaments starting in May and extending to February.  There are league and State Cup competitions from January through March for the younger teams and from April through May for the older age brackets (after the high school season has ended.)

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM FEES

The fees for competitive soccer are higher than recreational soccer. These fees are used to pay for professional coaches, Cal South and league fees, equipment, fields, referees and a small administrative staff.  Fees for participating in tournaments are additional and are not included in the League Registration Fee.

UNIFORMS

Uniform cost is separate from the Club registration fees and parents will be responsible for payment when the uniform order is placed on soccer.com. Players will also be able to order optional items such as warm-up’s, hoodies, backpacks, etc. Uniform ordering information will be sent to families shortly after registration.
