Roots Travel Soccer
Travel Registration is $150 per player but discounted to $125 for all registrations up to January 28. Uniforms are an additional $50 cost if needed but uniforms from prior seasons can be used if they still fit. Family discounts are also in place for registering multiple players at once.

Those with August birthdays often choose to play with the grade level they are a part of. Please register for whichever level the system allows for and then message us to let us know if you'd like your child moved. E.g. if your child was born in August 2012, they would qualify for 11U, but if they are currently in 6th grade and you want to move them to 12U we will accommodate that request without any problems.

Older players may also request to play on the team that matches their current grade level - Roots allows this but we will need to provide proof of grade enrollment before the season starts.

Given rising numbers of registrants we've seen in recent years, evaluations and tryouts may be needed in divisions where we have enough players to field more than one team, or to help us combine age groups if needed. In cases where we don't have enough players to field a team at a certain level, we may seek to combine or move players (see section below).

The first games of the season are likely to be scheduled for April 20, 2025 with practices starting several weeks before that.

Rec Soccer Program
Our recreational soccer program runs only in the Fall each year - there is no program in the Spring. There are other programs, camps and clinics available throughout the year which less experienced players can take part in to develop their skills. The Roots Soccer Academy is a good place to start.

Refund Policy
All sales are considered final once Registration is completed. EYSA will only consider a refund request under special and unforeseen circumstances (illness, injury, moving out of the area, or other inability to participate). A refund request must be submitted prior to any review by the board by emailing [email protected] and including the child’s name, team, and reason for the request.

Uniform fees are not refundable once uniforms have been ordered. Additional donations made to EYSA are not refundable.

EYSA strives to field as many teams as possible and give every child the opportunity to play soccer. To accomplish this, EYSA will at times have to move players outside the division or team that their age or gender would otherwise align with. These moves may take the form of:

A) Combining age groups (i.e. 9U Girls would “age up” and play in the 10U Girls Division for the season).
B) Forming co-ed teams (i.e. 9U Girls and U9 Boys merge to form a co-ed team playing in the 9U Boys Division).
C) In individual circumstances, a player may be asked to “age up” and play in an older division where players are needed as long as EYSA, their coaches and the player's parents all agree that the player's ability level is consistent with that of the division they would be entering into.

(PLEASE NOTE: Your child’s prior seasons team may not have a bearing on their current seasons team. For example, if your 9U child was asked to move up to 10U part way through the fall season because they needed more players, your child still registers as 9U in the spring).
