CAMSL - Coastal Area Mini Soccer League

PGSC's CAMSL League:

This Recreation Program is for players ages 6 and 7 years old.
Games will be played at various locations which are East Duplin Soccer (EDSC) located in Beulaville, Richlands Soccer Club (RSC) located in Richlands, Summersill Soccer Club (SSC) located off Gum Branch Rd. toward Jacksonville and Southwest Soccer Club (SWSC) located near air station in Jacksonville.
Normally half of scheduled games will be home games, with games played on Saturday and Sunday,start time on Sundays will be 1:00 p.m.
Teams are coached by parent volunteers who have been risk managed through NCYSA.
The regular season will consist of 8 games.
8U divisions will end of season tournament with single game elimination. 1st. and 2nd. place teams are awarded in each division of play in CAMSL end of season tournament. Tournament is normally scheduled for the following weekend after regular season ends.

2024 Spring Recreation Season

Piney Green Soccer Club (PGSC) is driven to provide the best environment to challenge players to reach their maximum potential. Our goal is to introduce soccer in the Piney Green area at the recreational level in hopes our players move up to the highest level of soccer.

The PGSC Recreational Program is open to all children aged 4 to 19 and promotes fun while teaching players sportsmanship and the basic skills (passing, trapping, dribbling, shooting) necessary to succeed in soccer. No tryout is required to be placed on a team at the recreational level. Developmental recreational soccer is divided into two seasons, fall and spring with players having to re-register each season.

EQUIPMENT:

Shin-guards are required for all players during practices and games. Soccer cleats are recommended but not require. Football and baseball cleats are not allowed due to the extra "toe cleat" on the top.
Appropriate practice attire must be worn to each practice (no zippers, buckles, jewelry etc.).
Players should bring a water bottle to each practice.
Players should bring a ball to practices. BALL SIZES: U8 and below - Size 3, U9 - U12 Size 4 U13 and up Size 5.

PRACTICE/TEAMS:

Practice days/times are set by the coach for his/her team. Players will be contacted after coaches receive their team information.
While we will make our best efforts to accomodate requests, team assignments are not guaranteed.

GAMES:

Games are typically Saturdays (throughout the day) and/or Sundays after 1:00PM.
An occasional game during the evening may be scheduled within the local area or home field.

UNIFORMS:

Micro Division - PGSC will provide the players a game shirt. Parents are responsible for getting black socks and black shorts.
7U and above - Uniforms are not covered in the registration fee. The order link is on the PGSC website. You will need the assigned jersey number to complete your order.
