Spring 2026 Recreation Season

Piney Green Soccer Club (PGSC) is driven to provide the best environment to challenge players to reach their maximum potential. Our goal is to introduce soccer in the Piney Green area at the recreational level in hopes our players move on to the highest level of soccer.

The PGSC Recreational Program is open to all children aged 3 to 19 and promotes fun while teaching players sportsmanship and the basic skills (passing, trapping, dribbling, shooting) necessary to succeed in soccer. No tryout is required to be placed on a team at the recreational level. Developmental recreational soccer is divided into two seasons, fall and spring with players having to re-register each season.

***IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT REGISTRATION***

Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Registration end dates do not guarantee that there are available spots open. If an age group is noted as wait listed, we strongly encourage you to sign up for the wait list. It does not cost anything to be on the wait list. If there are enough players on a wait list, we may be able to open up another team for that division. Registration fees will be due at that time.

EQUIPMENT:

Shin-guards are required for all players during practices and games. Soccer cleats required for our 7U and older players while they are recommended but not required for our micro division. Football and baseball cleats are not allowed due to the extra "toe cleat" on the top.
Appropriate practice attire must be worn to each practice (no zippers, buckles, jewelry etc.).
Players should bring a water bottle to each practice.
Players should bring a ball to practices. BALL SIZES: U8 and below - Size 3, U9 to U12 - Size 4, U13 and up Size 5.

PRACTICE/TEAMS:

Practice days/times are set by the coach for his/her team. Players will be contacted after coaches receive their team information.
While we will make our best efforts to accomodate requests, team assignments are not guaranteed.

GAMES:

Games are typically Saturdays (throughout the day) and/or Sundays after 1:00PM.
An occasional game during the evening may be scheduled within the local area or home field.

UNIFORMS:

Micro Division - PGSC will provide the players a game shirt. Parents are responsible for providing their players with black socks and pocket free black shorts.
7U and above - Uniforms are not covered in the registration fee. The order link is on the PGSC website. You will need to know your players jersey number prior to ordering. These will be confirmed by your players coach so please do not order without hearing from them. Duplicate numbers are not allowed on certified rosters.
