In memory of Mary Finley, lifetime member of PGSC, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2014, the Finley Family and Piney Green Soccer Club established a memorial/scholarship fund in 2015 to raise awareness and provide assistance to PGSC players.  

Each year PGSC allots a designated amount of scholarship funds to sponsor soccer players that are in need of financial assistance. The money is raised from concession sales during our annual 'Pink Out Weekend' in October.  

Those who receive assistance are only eligible once per seasonal year (Fall/Spring) and assistance does not cover the costs of uniforms.  

*The application period is subject to the funds that are available.  

Each October Piney Green goes Piney in Pink in honor of Mary and others fighting breast cancer. The Finley family selects the team with the most PINK spirit and they are awarded a pizza party for partaking in the fun and legacy of Mary!
