Mission Statement of Cedar Mill Little League

The objective of CMLL shall be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

Cedar Mill Advantage

The Board of CMLL encourages you all to register for the upcoming baseball season. Everyone is to have fun, enrich our community, teach positive reinforcement, and above all, enjoy the nation pastime sport of baseball.

CMLL OBJECTIVE:

CMLL continues to be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

PRIME LOCATION:
CMLL has exclusive local baseball field locations. Our fields are located within close proximity to our homes making commute times easy for practice and games. The scheduled time for practice and game playing is enhanced due to this fact. These factors make life easier for all children, coaches, umpires, fans, and parents able to play baseball at convenient times.

The Cedar Mill LL boundaries take in the following Beaverton School District elementary school boundaries: Terra Linda ES Findley ES Bonny Slope ES Cedar Mill ES West Tualatin View ES Ridgewood ES William Walker ES Barnes ES. Players from FOrest Park and Skyline may play if they are already approved under a 2d waiver.

RULES THAT PROTECT:
CMLL enforces rules that protect the children from injury and allow for better game playing. Our league makes sure that the dimensions of the fields are appropriate for the age and skill of the players to protect them from injury . Our coaches are all required to have background checks and attend training sessions. All coaches for the teams get a First Aid kit. Players are required to play a certain number of positions and innings to keep them experience and fair play in certain divisions. Pitch count limits are strongly enforced. Try outs are conducted to assess players levels of skills and creates higher level of safety for all involved. There are several other rules enforced at different divisions in the spirit of enforcing the objectives of CMLL.
