Program Registration & Refund Policy:
REGISTRATION
- Complete payment MUST accompany registration.
- Program sizes are limited and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Programs may be cancelled due to insufficient registration or inclement weather. If a program is cancelled due to inclement weather a reschedule may be offered. A refund for a single program, or pro-rated refund for multi-day program, will be offered when rescheduling is not feasible.
- A service fee of $35 will be imposed for all returned checks.
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
Requests from program participants for registration cancellation must be received by Burlington Parks and Recreation in writing.
- Programs cancelled by Burlington Parks and Recreation:
Full refund
- Cancellation requests received prior to registration deadline (No later than June 30):
Full refund less $11 admin fee
- Cancellation requests received after registration deadline (June 30):
No refund
- Participants who no-show for a program:
No refund
- Cancellation requests with qualifying extenuating circumstance:
Refund less $11 admin fee and any unrecoverable expenses
*Late registrations may be accepted after the deadline at the program coordinator's discretion when space remains available.
DISCOUNTS
- “Multiple Child/Person” discount: A discount may be offered to households registering more than 1 participant in a program. The discount is available for participation in designated programs only.
