MUSC is happy to announce our Spring 2022 Little Kicks Program anticipated to begin the first weekend in April.
MUSC will be following all CDC guidelines. Commissioners will be reaching out to members after registration closes with more specifics.
About Little Kicks: MUSC’s Little Kicks program is a pre-school age introduction into the sport of soccer. This program is specifically designed for three and four-year-old children to learn the base fundamentals of soccer through fun activities and games. During the weekly one-hour session, each child will meet new friends, learn a new sport, and use lots of energy. The program is taught by professional trainers that specialize in the preschool age.
Little Kicks Program (COED)
Cost $120 – 8 week season, 1 training per week
Ages Eligible: Birth Years 2017-2018
Saturday U4(10am) and U5(11:15am) Players: Dates April 2nd - June
Sunday U4(10am) and U5(11:15am) Players: Dates April 3 -June
Location: Milford Academy, Milford, CT 06460
Equipment: Weather appropriate clothing, water, shin guards, size 3 ball and sneakers (cleats optional)
Equipment Needed: Each player must wear shin-guards and wear sneakers orcleats on the field. Please come prepared with plenty of water for proper hydration. You will be provided a uniform shirt on the first week of practice, please arrive 10-15 minutes early the first week to check in.
Where to purchase shin guards? Dick’s Sporting Goods and Target all sell proper soccer equipment.
For Parents: Please note we do ask that parents refrain from being on the field and allow the trainers to coach the players. We fully understand that there is going to separation problems in the beginning, so if you need to stay with your child, it is okay to do so but once they become comfortable that would be an excellent time to step back with the other parents to allow our trainers to work accordingly with all players. Please note, all children on the field must be properly potty-trained.
In the case of rain, the practice/game will not move inside. The practice may be added on at the end of the season if it needs to be rescheduled. We will send an email the morning of practice in the event of weather cancellations.
Uniforms: MUSC Little Kicks t-shirts will be provided as uniforms and will be handed out during the first practice. Each player must wear shin-guards and wear sneakers or cleats on the field. Please come prepared with plenty of water for proper hydration and weather appropriate clothing.
Families can pick their session day during the registration process, times will be determined based on age of child.
NO CHILD CAN BE LEFT AT THE FIELD OR FACILITY UNATTENDED.
