Winter Futsal Program 2015/2016

 

            The staff at Central Virginia United is excited to announce the return of our Winter Futsal Program for 2015/2016. Last year over 130 of our players participated in this program exhibiting tremendous improvement in their technique and overall development.

Futsal is a fun, fast paced environment where training occurs playing with a smaller weighted ball. The focus of the training will be on individual technical development as well as giving players the confidence and creativity to try new moves and skills.

CVU full time staff and local college coaches will conduct all training. The Futsal Program is a must do for CVU players looking to improve and excel their play by coaching from top professional staff at a very affordable cost of $80!

Futsal Training Sessions:  (All Training will be held at Lynchburg College in Wake Field House)

Boys Session:

Training Dates: Dec. 7^th, Dec. 9^th, Dec. 14^th, Dec. 16^th, Dec. 28^th, Jan 6^th, Jan. 11^th, Jan. 13th 

Training Schedule:

Academy-U11 Boys: 5:00-6:15pm

U12- U14 Boys: 6:15-7:30pm

U 15-U18 Boys: 7:30-8:45pm

Girls Session:

Training Dates: Dec. 8^th, Dec. 10^th, Dec. 15^th, Dec. 17^th, Dec. 29^th, Jan. 7^th, Jan. 12^th, Jan.14^th

Training Schedule:

Academy-U12 Girls 5:00-6:15pm

U13-U14 Girls: 6:15-7:30pm

U15-U18 Girls: 7:30-8:45pm

 

Elite Level Training Program

CVU is pleased to announce the launching of the Elite Level Training Program for fall 2014. As the game of soccer changes around the state, country, and world, it is vital that our training programs meet the needs of our young players. The Elite Level Training Program is a cutting edge developmental program designed to give both individuals and small groups additional high level opportunities to learn, replicate, and master the necessary skills to be a truly Elite Level Player.

Listed below are the CVU full time staff that will conduct the training for the Elite Level Program. Players will have the opportunity to train individually or with a small group of 3-4 players. Training will take place in 1-hour time blocks and can be conducted almost any day of the week.

Advanced Training Program

We are excited to announce our Advanced Training Program that will begin during the 2015 Spring Season. The Advanced Training Program will offer an additional day of high-level training for our Travel, Academy, and Recreation Players. The training will focus on improving player’s technical skills by focusing on players technique through an active, games oriented approach.

Training will be held on Friday evenings from 5:30-7:00pm at the CVU Soccer Complex.

Training Dates: March 13^th, March 20, March 27, April 3, April 17, April 24, May 1, May 8
