Tryouts will be held on May 15th and May 22nd.  All tryout participants will be trying out for team's based upon their birth year. (i.e. 2004)

Central Virginia United  offers two levels of travel soccer: Premier and Classic. Theses programs have developed as the best in South West Virginia.

All CVU travel teams are coached by licensed professional coaches who follow and implement the CVU Player Development Curriculum. The Player Development Curriculum is tailored to the individual technical and tactical demands that will be asked of our players at each age level. Many of our CVU Premier Coaches are former standout club champions and collegiate players or coaches. The vast experiences of our coaching staff lends to a professional, player focused environment that is conducive to individual player development and team success.

The primary goal of the CVU travel program is player development through quality coaching and competitive play! Our travel coaches will emphasize the following.

• Develop the player's appreciation & life-long love of the game.
• Keep winning and losing in proper perspective (life lesson). Winning is a result of good coaching, hard work by the players/team, and ultimately exceptional team work and cooperation between the players & coach (Team Work... Another life lesson).
• Educate the players to the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of the game.
• Create an environment in which players will have fun and receive feedback.
• Run practices that are educational, assisting each player in reaching his or her full potential.
• Teach the appropriate USSF/USYSA/VYSA age specific curriculum (geared toward the ability level of the team assigned).
