π’ Overview of the Competitive Division
The Competitive League is designed for experienced coaches and players seeking a higher level of competition.
- π Players must have a solid understanding of football fundamentals and compete with the intent to win.
- π¨βπ« Head coaches and their staff build their own teams.
- π« No parent or player requests for specific coaches or friends will be considered.
Our Competitive League is a fairly new program we are excited to build. Our goal is to create more opportunities for athletes throughout the Bay Area to experience advanced, structured play beyond the traditional recreational season.
This league is open to competitive teams only, whether you already have a full roster or are currently assembling a group of competitive athletes.
Team roster requirements:
β’ Minimum: 7 players
β’ Maximum: 10 players
β’ Age cutoff for Winter 2026 & Spring Regionals: August 1, 2025

π For Coaches
This league is ideal for coaches who:
- Have an established competitive team or
- Want to build a select / all-star style roster
- Are preparing athletes for postseason or Regional competition
League Format
- Multi-week season play
- Playoffs and Championship
- Champions may choose to advance to Regionals
- Coach registers first and provides team code to his players
- Roster limits apply β min 7; max 10
- Teams provide their own uniforms β 2 different shirt colors are fine.
This is not recreational play.

If your athlete is:
- Experienced in flag football
- Ready for higher-level competition
- Interested in being part of a competitive team environment
You may:
- Work with other families to form a competitive team
- Connect with a coach who is building a roster
- Join our structured league with weekly games, playoffs, and a championship
Important to Know
- Players must be part of a team (no individual placement)
- This is a competitive league, not beginner or rec
- Teams are coach-led and registered together
Because this is a coach-led competitive team, the Head Coach determines playing time, roles, and expectations for their athletes. Families should communicate directly with their coach regarding team standards or questions about participation.
