Frequently Asked Questions
· How to I access the cameras? Please use the following link to access the FSA baseball cameras, and choose the field that your child is playing on. http://bit.ly/3qVdY7r
· Can I request a specific teammate or coach? The only way to guarantee a teammate request is to register as a head coach and build your team. Each head coach is allowed to choose (1) assistant coach who's kids will be guaranteed on the same team. You can add your teammate request into your registration and the coaches will see that during the drafts, however it is not guaranteed.
· Can I change my child's registration information? You can login to the system and change anything regarding your registration, such as teammate requests, special requests. jersey size, etc. Please login to your account and click the edit button next to your child's registration (Shown here: Edit Account )
· What date is used to determine a child's age? For the spring season, the date used to determine a child's age is April 30th of that year. For fall, the date used is April 30th of the following year. This way the kids gets to participate in the same division that they will be in during the spring, during the fall season. This allows the kids to learn the rules in an instructional environment before participating in a competitive environment.
· What is the game and practice schedule? Schedules are not set until after assessments are complete and teams are set. Practice times are one night per week and one per weekend for the spring season. Fall season only has one practice per week and one game on Saturday. Coaches try to work with schedules and availability to determine the start time and duration but we can not guarantee there won't be conflicts. Games schedules are not released until early February for spring baseball. Tball leagues play on Saturday, normally early, but all other ages are spread out through the week.
· Can my child play up or down a league? Playing down is not an option; primarily due to safety and insurance regulations. You may play your child up (1) division by emailing [email protected]. There is not an automatic option with the new website.
· What are assessments? Where are they? What do we need to bring? Assessments are try outs where all the head coaches get to see the ability of the players prior to the draft. The location is always the Fairfield baseball fields; 16055 Mason Road. Kids should bring a glove, bat and helmet to participate in all activities.
· If we miss assessments, will my kid still get drafted? Yes, all players get drafted. Assessments allow the coaches to see each kid's ability and leads to a more balanced league.
· What does a ‘waitlisted’ email mean? FSA baseball has a capacity limit due to the number of fields able to be used. The capacity limitations are different per division, depending on which fields and how many fields each division can utilize. Once a division is full, all additional players go into the waitlist. Once you receive an email notifying you that you are no longer on the waitlist, then you must go into your account and pay before your child is listed in the league.
· Can I receive a refund? A refund policy is posted on the website and on your registration. Refunds can be processed up until registration is closed. At that point, refunds are not allowed due to uniforms, team rosters and league organization.
