FSA Winter Basketball 2022-2023
Basketball for Winter is open for ages 5-13 for Boys and 5-13 for Girls
Price is $215 for the season and registration will be open from September 10, 2022 through October 27, 2021. There will be NO late registrations allowed.
Fairfield Sports Association Winter Basketball is a full season with 10 games and playoffs for ages 8 and up. Teams will practice once a week starting November 8th, practices are held Monday through Thursday. Games are played from Dec 3rd through February 18th, with playoffs starting the following week and wrapping up prior to spring break. Games will be held on Fridays and Saturdays during the season. Games and practices will be played at the Fairfield Athletic Center, Louetta Automotive Center and Cy Fair Middle Schools. Games cancelled due to unexpected facilities cancellations will be rescheduled if possible but may not be made up. There will be no practices on Thanksgiving and no practices or games during Christmas break.
Coaches are responsible for signing up for a practice time with the Basketball Commissioner at the coaches meeting. Dates and times are on a first come first serve basis. Due to the volume of players in the league and the drafting system in place, player restrictions on practice days can not be honored.
In an attempt to make the teams as even as possible, we will hold player assessments and drafts tentatively on October 28th. Participation in these assessments is strongly encouraged, but not required. If you cannot make assessments your child will be put on a team, there is no need to contact us to inform us if you are unable to attend. Friend request are acknowledged however, they are not guaranteed (Car pooling as well).
Coaches are required for each team and should register as so on the website.
Player restrictions ( ie: days that a player can’t practice, player request) can be put into the notes of your registration however, it does not guarantee that the request will be honored. Carpooling, friends of players/coach are not a requests that will be honored in FSA.
Divisions may be combined or divided depending on the number of registrations we have. This will be announced prior to the assessments.
Registration is open through October 27th.
Coaches meeting is tentatively planned for October 24th - update will be sent via email. Attendance is highly encouraged for anyone considering coaching. Coaches will sign-up for practice times during this meeting. Rules of each league are also discussed.-

Assessments are tentatively scheduled for October 28th - any changes will be sent via email and schedule to be determined. NO REFUNDS AFTER ASSESMENTS.
Assessments will be held at the Louetta Automotive Sports Complex in cypress on Oct 28th
Playoffs and all star game for age groups 8 and up will be held – details to come.
