General Registration Information.
Age Groups
- Intown program: U6-U8 (Kindergarten-2nd grade); must be 4 by 8/31/2026
PreK/K: Practices/Games Sunday afternoons (Girls 12:30-1:30pm; Boys 2:00-3:00pm)
Grade 1: Practices/Games Sunday afternoons (Boys and Girls 3:30-4:30pm)
Grade 2: 1 practice on Friday evenings; Games Saturday afternoons (times can vary)
- Travel Program: U10-U14 (3rd-8th grade); Final practices day/times dictated by coaches.
Boys: Practices M/W nights; games Saturdays (times vary)
Girls: Practices T/Th nights; games Saturdays (times vary)

IF YOU ARE NEW TO TRAVEL PROGRAM
If you are new to the travel program once returners are placed on teams, we will let you know if a slot if available on a team at the appropriate level. You have to be able to attend a placement session during January to be placed on a travel team. If there is no slot available on a team at the appropriate level we will refund your registration fee. Returners (those who played the previous season) have preference to register through May 9th.
Please read the below before starting the registration process.
A couple of notes to help during the process:
2) For travel team parents (grades 3 and up), do not start registration process until you have a photo of your child ready to upload. You can not register your child without uploading a photo. You will be required to upload a recent photo.
3) For travel team parents, birth certificate, country of citizenship and country of birth are on the registration page but those questions can be skipped. We were not able to remove it from the registration page.
4) For the in-town league you do not need to upload a photo of your child. Birth certificate and photo are part of registration, but they are not required for registration so you can skip these questions.
5) Registration through this site is based on your child’s birthdate, however Waltham soccer is still based on grade level. We understand that some children may be older or younger than their classmates. When you enter your child’s birthdate, if it does not show the correct grade level program for them, please register them for the grade level shown and contact the registrar and we can move them to the correct age level on the backend.
- Registration: Will close as soon as teams are full (including waitlist) for travel. Intown will remain open but register early to ensure your slot.
- Spring: 6-9 weeks with games starting on Late August/early September - beginning/middle of November
- Spring: 6-9 weeks with games starting on Late March/early April - beginning/middle of June
