Intown teams (PreK-Grade 2)
Our intown recreational league is made up of boys and girls teams grouped by grades (preK&K together), Grade 1 and Grade 2 and gender. Each player U6-U7-U8 is given a team shirt, you must have black socks, black shorts, shin pads, children can wear sneakers, and use a size 3 ball for U6, U7 & U8. Fall season runs Sept-Nov and Spring season runs April-June. All practices/games occur at Veterans Field at 385 Forest Street Waltham, Ma.
To be able to play in the preK/K league children must turn four by 8/31 of the fall season. For example for the 2024 season children must turn 4 by 8/31/2024. This aligns to the Waltham School system.
To participate in the league, the child must be a resident of Waltham or attend Waltham public schools. Jewelry (bracelets, activity monitors, necklaces, earrings of any kind) can not be worn during practices or games nor can be covered up with tape or bandaids.
Refunds of the registration fee will only be given if requested by beginning of July for the Fall Season and beginning of February for the Spring season. Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis after this time.

Our U6 league plays on Sunday afternoons with the girls from 12:30-1:30pm and the boys from 2:00-3:00pm, for 6 weeks each season Fall (Sept) and Spring (April). Each new player is given a size 3 ball their first season.
1st Grade format:

Our U7 league boys & girls will play on Sunday afternoons from 3:30-4:30. The season runs for 6 weeks.
Grade 2 format:
two day program
5v5
two 25 minute halves
Practice Fridays
Saturday afternoon games
Our intown U8 teams boys league and girls league play on Sat in the afternoon (typically after 2pm) and have one practice per week on Friday at 5:15. The season runs for 8 weeks. All practices/games occur at Veterans Field at 385 Forest Street. Waltham, Ma.
