Access/Eligibility:
Any player ages 4-7 may register for a chartered Tee Ball Only Program without respect to residency or school enrollment. Any player registered will have full eligibility for the duration of their Little League career as follows:
- In the league in whose boundary the Tee Ball program is located
- If the Tee Ball program is not located in the boundary of a league, the player will have eligibility at their choice of league(s), as determined by Little League Canada & International. The player must identify the league after their first year of Tee Ball if multiple options are available.
- At any time, a player may qualify for a league based on residence or school enrollment regardless of Tee Ball participation.
Benefits:
Each chartered Tee Ball program will be provided with the following:
- 1 Print Tee Ball Guide per team chartered
- Parent’s Guide to Tee Ball (electronic copy)
- Access to Little League marks
Operating Requirements:
Organizations operating the program must agree to the following:
- Must operate the program in accordance with Little League’s Tee Ball curriculum.
- Must submit a list of registration data containing player, manager, and coach information to Little League within 1 month of the program start date.
- Must complete background checks for all volunteers/paid staff involved in the program in accordance with Little League regulations.
- Must agree to not charter/operate any baseball/softball programs affiliated with another youth organization. They may operate independent programs.
- Must provide proof of local liability coverage insurance is required
Chartering Requirements/Fees:
Completed charter application that contains the number of teams chartered for baseball and softball divisions of Tee Ball. Application requires a minimum of 2 program contacts, league information, and an agreement to comply with background screening requirements.
- Constitution and Boundary Map are not required
- Charter fee of $15 per team will be charged
