PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE Program Description Our Junior Academy has become a full year program with training and games during the Fall, Winter and Spring. The program is designed specifically for U10 players who will be looking to transition to the premier competition the following year. Players will be grouped in the training sessions by ability to maximize development. The focus, regardless of placement, remains exclusively on player development. During the Fall and Spring, we will schedule inter-program Tournaments which will involve all the kids in the program playing against each other in a game situation. These Tournaments will be on Sunday mornings, and it will be small sided (4 v 4, 5 v 5 or 6 v 6). Players can join at any time of the year - Costs will be prorated. Open to boys and girls aged u8 though u10, who can handle the challenge Six FALL sessions - 6:00-7:15 PM, plus one or two Sunday morning tournaments. (times could be adjusted to earlier start due to daylight) Six WINTER sessions - Days, times and location TBD Six SPRING sessions - 6:00 - 7:15 pm, plus one or two Sunday morning tournaments Includes a Jr Academy uniform kit: Two shirts, shorts and socks Enrollment will be $450 for the soccer year, which can be rolled over for credit towards the tuition to our premier teams the following year Outside the club Tournament participation is optional at an extra cost Sibling discount- 10% for each additional member Flexible payment plan is available All sessions will be run by Benfica USA staff coaches, under the leadership of Mario Prata, Director of Coaching Notes Remember to bring a size 4 ball and plenty of water to drink. Dress for the weather, including cleats and shinguards. Check this website often for updates. Refund Policy Due to staffing and displacing someone else due to the limited number of accepted participants, there is a no refund policy, with the exception of a medical problem. If you need to cancel, an account credit will be issued that can be applied towards any future program. Cancellations If inclement weather or field conditions force us to cancel a session, we’ll try to make it up at the end but it’s not guaranteed depending on availability of fields and participants.
