It is with great pleasure to announce Dr. Dina Gentile; professor of Sport Management at Endicott College has decided to join our coaching staff.
Dina in her position of Technical Advisor and Clinician will be conducting various clinics for the players, offer advice on team management for the coaches as well as design specific informative clinics for the parents.
Coach Dina Gentile has successfully coached at the Division II and III collegiate level as well as with select youth soccer teams.
As the former Endicott College women’s soccer coach, Dina has won 5 conference championships, participated in 4 NCAA Championships, and compiled a 142-67-7 record in 11 years.
Dina holds a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Diploma and has organized soccer camps for 19 years on the North Shore.
In 2012 she was recognized by the NSCAA in the “I’m a Coach Because” campaign out of 1000 entries across the country.
She has served as the Player Development Officer, Pre Kindergarten and Kindergarten Coordinator for Beverly Youth Soccer.
She is passionate about educating coaches and inspiring players to love soccer.
As a player, Dina was an All-American and Academic All-American at Adelphi University. In 1993 she was inducted into the Adelphi Athletic Department Hall of Fame.
In 2010, Dina was the first coach inducted into the Endicott College Athletics Hall of Fame.
She has organized numerous coaching education seminars for youth coaches. She is published in coaching and camp business. In 2011, she joined Soccer Nation News as acontributing columnist.
Dina earned her master’s degree from Springfield College while serving as Assistant Coach in 1992 and 1993. In 2001, Dina earned her doctorate degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Boston University. Dr. Gentile teaches in the undergraduate and graduate Sport Management Programs at Endicott College.
