WLL Raises Over $10,000 for Jimmy Fund

After final tabulations were counted, Wakefield Little League is proud to announce that it raised over $10,000 for the Jimmy Fund as part of its 2021 Jimmy Fund League season.

This year, WLL fielded seven Jimmy Fund League teams across the three age divisions (7-8, 9-10, 11-12). Each of the seven teams was able to raise at least $1,100 dollars.

Chad Miller's 11-12 year-old team led the way, raising over $3,000 themselves in support of the Jimmy Fund.

The Jimmy Fund League is a summer baseball program designed to both give players an extra opportunity to play baseball and also raise money for an important cause.
