CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY 2021

Hello Copper Hills Families,

We understand the concerns with the possibility of season cancellation or suspension.  Our refund policy will be as such:

If Copper Hills Little League is cancelled for any reason before we begin the 2021 season, you will receive a full refund minus a $3 service fee.

If after first games have been played, with cancellations/postponements related to Covid-19 where the government or health officials will not allow us to operate, we will pause the season and postpone games to start back up on the earliest possible future date. While there is no specific deadline for when postponed games must be made up, only that they must be completed within a reasonable period of time as weather permits, we will send updates every two weeks so you may decide what is best for your family.

In the event of COVID-19 related postponement makeups are possible, we are unable to provide refunds if a player or team is unable to attend the makeup dates due to fixed expenses incurred by running the league if other teams are still playing. CHLL will continue to run league games until we are told to cease operations by a local health and/or governmental order, District 12, or Little League International.

If a season needs to be ended and games cannot be made up, you will receive a prorated credit for future seasons that will be valid for 18 months. It is important to note that once the season begins, CHLL incurs many startup expenses including uniforms, equipment, charter and permit costs, etc, and therefore the prorated credits will NOT be calculated in the following way:

NOT:  Total fees paid/Total weeks in the season = weekly cost to participate.

Of course, we will be fair in this calculation based on league expenses. This is partially because if our season must stop for any reason related to COVID-19 after facility payments have been made, the Town has a no-refund policy and we will only receive credits for future seasons for a limited time.

We will remain transparent and public through this all. 

Because we understand things can change locally or your personal life these days, we want to give you more flexibility and time than our normal refund policy. Therefore, if you request a refund 7+ days prior to your league start date you will receive a full refund, minus any non-refundable credit card processing fees incurred. Refunds requested within 7 days of the start date will be prorated for non-refundable league costs. 

In short, we understand.  We are transparent and available for questions.  We hope to play without hindrances, but if we can’t, we will do as much as possible to help your family out while still being able to support future seasons of Copper Hills Little League.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask or our Board of Directors.
