The Reisterstown Boys Basketball program is a In- House Program .

In-House Program

All ages are as of December 31st. Evaluations are required for all players and are held at the Hannah More School Gym.

Payments

Payments are due September 30th. Registrations are not official until payment is received. Late payments will incur a $20 fee. Payments returned for any reason will incur a $20 fee and void the registration. You must re-register if this happens.

Please note that we are only accepting credit card or debit card payments online, no mail in checks will be accepted this year.

Official registration for ages 9-14 closes on November 20th. If space allows for additional registrations after November 20th , a $20 late registration fee will be assessed. Registration for the 15-17 league will close November.

It is the policy of Reisterstown Recreation Boys Basketball to deny refunds after teams have been selected and players notified.

Evaluations

Evaluations are done to achieve competitive balance among the teams. They are not tryouts; once a player's registration has been accepted, he is guaranteed a spot on a team regardless of skill level or previous experience. Evaluations are required for all players and are held at the Hannah More School Gym. The 7-8 year old league is instructional.

Team Assignments

Practices and games for In-house will be determined after registration is complete. For 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14, players will be assigned to teams during the week of November 26th. Once assigned, coaches will contact them about practices, which begin on or about November 1st. Team assignment for the 15-17 and 7-8 age group will take place at a later time.

Travel Program: We Are Not Having a Travel Program this season. 

Registration and Fees

The registration process is the same as with In-House, except you indicate on the form you want to try out for Travel. Prior to participating in the first travel tryout session, all players must be registered. The additional travel registration fee will be $150.00 for the travel program.

Tryout Sessions

Anyone wishing to try out for travel must attend the first tryout session at the Hannah More School Gym. Additional required follow-up tryout sessions will be also be scheduled; players will be notified as to the times and dates of these sessions at the first session. Team selection will be completed by no later than October 9th.

Travel Coaches & Volunteers

Anyone interested in coaching a travel team this year must complete the following steps no later than September 15th 2016:

1. Register online as an adult volunteer participant in our program. Use the Volunteer tab above.
2. E-mail us at [email protected] to notify us of your interest. This e-mail should include the age group you would like to coach and a description of any previous relevant coaching experience you might have.

Registration is limited by the available facilities and the number of volunteers. We encourage you to volunteer. Coaches, scorekeepers and sponsors (or make a sponsorship online!) are needed. If you are interested in volunteering, please register online using the Volunteer tab above.
