The CSYFO is committed to finding and developing quality coaches to teach our kids the game of football.  Our coaches will be positive role models for our kids who teach sportsmanship, discipline, and high moral standards.  Our coaches will lead with a positive approach and carry out the principles of “The Wildcat Way.” 

Coaching Requirements:

1.  Pass the FBI and BCI background check (instructions for application will be provided)

2.  Complete the concussion and sudden cardiac arrest classes on NFHS website (instructions and links will be provided)

3.  Complete the “Coaches Application” located under the “registration” tab on our website

4.  Enroll with USA Football and complete and attain coaching certifications.

5.  Focus on teaching our players the rules and fundamentals of the game, and worry less about winning and losing

6.  Abide by the mission, vision, and bylaws of the CSYFO (and league rules, when/if applicable)

Coaching Responsibilities:

1.  Attend coaches’ clinics and meetings that are scheduled

2.  Implement the drills, techniques, plays, schemes, and terminology used by our middle school and high school teams

3.  Be present and prepared for all practices and games

4.  Focus on developing each and every single player

5.  Effectively communicate with middle school and high school staff when appropriate
