Parent Volunteers needed!!!
Player registration numbers will be based on the number of
parent volunteer coaches that register!
As a volunteer Coach, you will:
- Enthusiastically run a small group of players in your chosen division(s) utilizing provided training sessions and based on the club's/partner training vendor's training philosophy
- Generally be present at weekly training sessions (approximately one hour on Saturday mornings for each division, and an additional one hour during the week for U8 coaches only)
- Act as an ambassador of team spirit
- Attend a preseason training session to become versed in the training philosophy and provided program materials
- Complete provided Safesport training, concussion training and consent to required background check
Being a volunteer "coach" requires NO soccer background, just the ability to commit to helping out every Saturday for one hour and again on Thursdays for U8.
Our Junior's program is organized by Soccer XS, who will give you every week's plan for practice and be there to run the session. The volunteer coaches are there to assist Soccer XS and help with the kids.
To become a certified volunteer coach:
1. Register to Volunteer by logging into your LSC account and going to the Volunteer tab on the left.
2. Complete your background check (Risk Status). This is just filling out an online form.
3. Complete a Safe Sport certification. This is a 1.5 hour online training class.
