POSTING GAME TIMES AND SCORES TO NWD:
https://www.nwdcjsa.org/Default.aspx?tabid=1713620
TOURNAMENTS:
1. Coaches are responsible to register their team with the tournament. If you are allowed an option to pay by check, use that option and the club treasurer can write one check for all teams going to the tournament. If you are required to pay upon registration, contact the treasurer with the amount so that you can be reimbursed.
2. Let the registrar know that you are participating in a tournament and if you will be using your current season roster or will need a tournament roster. Coaches need to check the roster maximum for the tournament.
a. If all players going to the tournament are on your regular season roster, you can usually just cross out players not attending and submit that.
b. If you need guest players on your roster you will need a tournament roster. Submit the list of the players and coaches needed to the registrar. Guest players need to be registered with CJSA for the current year. If a guest player is from another club, you need to submit their ID number to the registrar. (FYI, the tournament rosters currently do not have photos. If your tournament requires photos, let the registrar know and they will also send you copies of the player passes.)
c. Tournament rosters need to be approved by CJSA so make sure you leave enough time.
d. Coaches are required to submit their roster and player passes, if needed, to the tournament.
3. Coaches are responsible to collect and submit any medical forms required by the tournament. *You can print pre-filled medical release forms for each player in your CJSA US Soccer Connect site. Use the Player Application Form button under your team. You should confirm that the tournament directory will accept this form ahead of time.
4. Player fees: The club needs to be reimbursed for the cost of your team to play in the tournament. The registration cost of your team should be divided by the number of players attending to determine the cost per player. (It is a good idea to assume at least one player may drop out, so round up accordingly)
a. Coaches can collect all the fees from the players by having checks made out to the Litchfield Soccer Club and giving all the checks to the treasurer or having the checks made out to themselves and writing one check to LSC.
b. Alternatively, you can request the registrar add the tournament fees into each player’s soccer club account and have the parents pay online. The registrar will need to know the list of players and how much per player. The coach will need to inform the parents to go pay in their LSC account. Prior to the tournament the registrar will let you know if anyone hasn’t paid, and the coach will need to follow up.
