Statewide Organizations.
In CT, youth soccer is sanctioned by two governing bodies - US Soccer and US Club Soccer.
The Connecticut Junior Soccer Association
The CJSA is the CT arm of the US Soccer and sanctions most of the teams in our club. The CJSA is also the gracious host of this website and most town soccer websites throughout the state. Connecticut is broken up into seven geographical districts. The LSC is a member of the Northwest District(NWD) alongside neighboring towns from Sherman to Terryville and as far north as New Hartford. All division games are played within the district, though the LSC sometimes schedules "friendlies" with teams outside the NWD that do not count towards standings.
The Connecticut Club Soccer League
The CCSL is the CT arm of US Club Soccer. In Spring 2018, the LSC entered its first team into the CCSL - a high school team in U17 division. Going forward, the CCSL will remain a Premier Team option for the LSC.
