A. Stay home!Do not come to any in-person events. Please email us at [email protected] for the next steps.

Q. I have (or think I might have) COVID-19; how do I notify other families?

A. Notify Us at [email protected].  We will take care of notifying all those that need be while respecting your privacy.

Q. What should I do if someone in my family has been notified they are a close contact and should isolate?

A. Stay home! Do not come to any in-person events. Please email us at [email protected] for the next step.  Generally speaking, we deal with cases individually and craft a plan forward using guidance from Federal, State, and local public health officials.

Q. What if I have any general COVID-19 questions?

A. Email Us at [email protected].  We respond to inquiries as soon as possible.

Q. If a player has tested positive, how many days to they have to quarantine until they can attend practice/game again?

Each case is unique and is resolved in its own way.  We use the latest guidance from CDC, WDOH, and King County Health to guide us on the safest course of action for everyone.

Q. If a player tests positive for COVID-19, do they need to provide results of a negative test to return to play?

We rely on the guidance from CDC, WDOH, and King County Health to determine if this is required. At this point, there is no requirement to test negative prior to returning to play.

Q. If a player has tested positive, will HPFC notify the whole team?

We will notify all appropriate individuals.  This may mean we notify a carpool, an entire team, an opposing team.  Because of the rapid spread of this virus, we strive to make notifications no later than 24 hours after we are made aware.

Q. What happens if multiple players on a team test positive for COVID-19? Will the whole team be asked to quarantine or is it a case by case?

When players are directly exposed, they may need to quarantine.  Again, this will depend on the circumstances surrounding the exposure.

Q. Are masks mandatory during practice/games or voluntary

Presently, masks are not mandatory but highly encouraged.

Q. Do I have to test their child for COVID-19 before starting practices or games?

No.  We will perform a basic health screen at the field to gauge whether further scrutiny will be warranted.
