Development Age Soccer

Development Age (or “Dev” Age) is where soccer starts at HPFC.  We pride ourselves on a style of soccer that combines creative attacking, tenacious defending, organized transitions, and thoughtful possession.  Coaches teach players to be tactically astute, technically proficient, and intelligent decision-makers.  

At Highline Premier FC, our approach to soccer education inspires a balance between player growth, results, and teachable moments.

Summer/Fall Teams

May to December

• Tryouts held in April
• Practices 2x weekly
• Summer Tournaments (generally 2-3 tournaments)
• WPL Fall League (8-10 games)

Winter/Spring Teams

January to April

• Tryouts held in December
• Practices 2x weekly
• WPL Spring League (6-8 games)
• Select teams to play WPL WA Cup

The Washington Premier League Western Development League (WPL WDL) is for 9U and 10U teams. These age groups play 7v7.

Western Washington teams play matches primarily at Starfire Sports Complex (and a few other local sanctioned fields).

Highline Premier Futsal Club is our fast-paced futsal training sessions.

Futsal is a indoor soccer-based game that allows players to focus on improving decision making skills, providing players with more touches on the ball, and improving confidence in 1v1 situations.

To get our teams on the same page, we use GameChanger Team Manager Mobile App. 

In the app, there are the most current rosters, scheduling, scorekeeping, messaging, and photo and video sharing all in one place.

Techne Futbol App is a unique in-home app that allows players to work on improving skills in the core focus areas of Technical Ability, Physical Performance, Mental Training, and Goalkeeping.  All Highline Premier FC players recieve access to the app after registration.

Veo is a digital video technology that captures every single moment of the game in great HD video quality.

Families will be able to watch and share games with those not able to get to the field.

How Does My Child Join?

The first step to joining Highline Premier FC is by registering for a Tryout or scheduling an Open Session.  Click over to the Tryout or Open Session page for more information about each process.

Financial Assistance (FA) is available to qualifying families via an online application on our website.  FA recipients may receive assistance with uniforms and team fees.
