2024 Bay State Summer Baseball

Wilmington Little League will be fielding a team for the Bay State Baseball tournament this summer at the 9U, 10U and 11U levels. Players for these teams will be selected by try out, as this is a competitive summer baseball tournament.

Play typically begins late June and finishes in mid-August.

Players are expected to be available for practices and games during this time frame. Player availability will be factored into team placement decisions.

Eligibility and try out information per division is as follows:

9U
  • Player birthday between 9/1/2014 and 8/31/2015
  • Try out dates:
  • Session 1: 5/7/24 from 5-6:15 pm at Glen Road fields
  • Session 2: 5/7/24 from 6:15-7:30 pm at Glen Road fields

10U
  • Player birthday between 9/1/2013 and 8/31/2014
  • Try out dates:
  • Session 1: 5/11/24 from 9:30-11 am at Boutwell field
  • Session 2: 5/11/24 from 3:30-5 pm at Rotary Field
  • Rain date will be 5/18

11U
  • Player birthday between 9/1/2012 and 8/31/2013
  • Try out dates:
  • Session 1: 5/8/24 from 5:30-7 pm at Boutwell field
  • Session 2: 5/11/24 from 1:45-3:15 pm at Rotary field

Players are required to attend one try out session for their respective division. Please attend the tryout that best fits your player's schedule. There will be no sign up for try out times.

Registration will close at 11:59 pm on 5/5/24.

Cost will be $150 which will be paid upon placement on a team. Players selected for the 10U and 11U Bay State Teams may also be selected for the District All-Star Team, which will play in the District 13 tournament in the late June/early July timeframe.
