Wilmington Little League will be fielding a team for the Lou Tompkins tournament this summer at the 13U level (big diamond). Players for these teams will be selected by try out, as this is a competitive summer baseball tournament.

Games will begin the week of June 20th (practices will be held prior to this date) and play will continue through early August.

Player's birthday should between 5/1/2012 and 8/31/2013

Cost will be $200 and will be paid upon placement on a team. Players who do not make the team will be automatically enrolled on the Big Diamond summer team.

Wilmington Little League is looking to offer a recreation Big Diamond summer baseball opportunity for players that are league age 13-16. The season runs from June through playoffs in early August. There is no try out required. Players will be placed on the team if there are enough registrations to field a full team.

The following divisions are available:

Summer is the best time to be playing baseball! Don't get left on the bench, registration is open and will be closing on May 31st.

Cost will be $185 and will be paid upon placement on a team.

Registration for Wilmington High School Varsity team members only. If your player does not attend Wilmington High School please register for Summer Big Diamond.

Wilmington's Summer Softball program is part of the Middle Essex Softball League. It's a fun and competitive league and gives our Wilmington players an opportunity to compete against other towns throughout the summer.

 

We hope to have teams at 10U, 12U and 14U levels. Teams play two games per week and typically have one practice per week. 10U and 14U will likely play games on Mondays and Wednesdays while 12U will likely play games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Makeup games will be scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Practices are typically on the Weekends. The season will begin in late June and end at the beginning of August.

Players should register for the division that aligns with their birthdate:

 

10U: Players born between 9/1/2015 and 8/31/2017

12U: Players born between 9/1/2013 and 8/31/2015

14U: Players born between 9/1/2011 and 8/31/2013

Cost will be $160. Registration fee will only be charged if we have enough players to field a team. Tryouts will not be held.

 

Summer Jimmy Fund Baseball League: Registration is now open for 2026!

 

Jimmy Fund small diamond travel baseball will play against teams from surrounding towns. Teams are available for the following divisions:

 

8yr old (birthdays from 9/1/2017 through 8/31/2018)

9-10 yr old (birthdays from 9/1/2015 through 8/31/2017)

11-12 yr old (birthdays from 9/1/2013 through 8/31/2015)

 

Play will begin early in July and consists of 3 weeks of games and 1 more week for playoffs if necessary. Most games are scheduled for week nights and travel will be to local towns.

 

Cost is $160/player

 

If your player has registered to tryout for Bay State, please do not sign up for a Jimmy Fund team. Players who are not placed on a Bay State team will have the opportunity to be transferred directly to a Jimmy Fund team.
