Baseball season is right around the corner and Wilmington LL is pleased to announce that we will be offering winter clinics for baseball. The winter clinics run for 6 weeks starting Feb 21, 2026 through Mar 28, 2026 for 8-12 year olds and Feb 24, 2026 through March 31, 2026 for 6-7 year olds. The winter clinic is a great way for players knock off some rust and learn new skills before the spring season starts. 

Skills will be taught by experienced instructors and will be age appropriate. The skills will be progressive each week with a focus on providing high level instruction in a really fun environment for the kids.

Throwing and catching, footwork, fielding and hitting will be just some of the skills that will be taught during the 6 week program.

FOR: Baseball Players ages 8-12

WHEN: Saturdays from Feb 21 to March 28

TIME: 

8-9 Year Olds (born between 9/1/2016 and 8/31/2018): 2-3:30 pm

10-12 Year Olds (born between 9/1/2013 and 8/31/2016): 3:30-5 pm

LOCATION: Nor’Easters facilities, 19 Barker Road, Tewksbury

COST: $80 per clinic– includes all 6 weeks of training

FOR: Baseball Players ages 6-7

WHEN: Tuesdays from Feb 24 to Sunday March 31

TIME: 

6-7 Year Olds (born between 9/1/2018 and 8/31/2020): 5-6:30 pm

LOCATION: Nor’Easters facilities, 19 Barker Road, Tewksbury

COST: $40 per clinic– includes all 6 weeks of training

Space is limited, so sign up if you're interested. We are able to have 40 players for the clinic. Players should bring a glove, bat, helmet and water.

Softball season is right around the corner and Wilmington Little League is pleased to announce that we will be offering winter clinics for softball. The winter clinics run for 7 weeks starting Feb 7, 2026 through Mar 28, 2026 (no clinic on Feb 14). The winter clinic is a great way for players knock off some rust and learn new skills before the spring season starts. Skills will be taught by experienced instructors and will be age appropriate. The skills will be progressive each week with a focus on providing high level instruction in a really fun environment for the kids. This year, we are offering a pitching and catching clinic in addition to general skills. Interested players can sign up for both the general skills and pitching/catching clinics or just one of the two clinics.

Throwing and catching, footwork, fielding and hitting will be just some of the skills that will be taught during the program.

FOR: Softball Players

WHEN: Saturday afternoons from Saturday, Feb 7 to Saturday March 28 (no clinic on 2/14)

TIME: 

Pitching and Catching (all ages): 1-2 pm

8U/10U General Skills: 2-3 pm

12U/14U General Skills: 3-4 pm

LOCATION: 83 Holton St, Woburn (New England Stampede)

COST: $100 per 7-week session

Space is limited, so sign up if you're interested. We are able to have 25 players for each session. If you are signing up for the pitchers/catchers clinic, please indicate in the comments whether your player is planning to pitch, catch or both.

Players should bring a glove, bat, helmet and water. Catchers attending the catchers' clinic should bring catchers equipment if they have it. Pitchers attending the pitchers' clinic should bring someone with a glove to catch for them.

Wilmington Baseball is looking to field a 16U Big Diamond Baseball team in spring 2026. Cost for the season will be $180. Registration fee will only be collected if a player is placed on a team.

 

Registration will close on 2/15/26 at which time we will determine whether we have enough players to field a team. If we have enough players to field a team, you will be notified and asked to pay the registration fee. If we do not have enough players to field a team at a particular level, you will be notified and you will not be placed on a team.

14U division is player pitch, plays in the Merrimack Valley Girls Softball League, and travels to surrounding towns for games.

This registration is specifically for the 14U division. Players are born between 9/1/11 and 8/31/13 (generally 7th and 8th grade).

Registration will close on February 15, 2026 at which time we will determine whether we have enough players to field a team at the 14U level. If we have enough players to field a team, you will be notified and asked to pay the registration fee. If we do not have enough players to field a team at a particular level, you will be notified and you will not be placed on a team. Cost will be $180.

We are committed to teaching the fundamentals of softball while developing competitive players.

8U division plays in-town only, and is a coach pitch league. 8U typically plays on Mondays and Thursdays between 5:45 and 7 pm.

10U, and 12U divisions are player pitch, and play in the Merrimack Valley Girls Softball League, and travel to surrounding towns for games. 10/12U typically plays weekday evenings and practices on Sundays.
