Ross Futbol Club - Premier Soccer

About RFC Premier Soccer:

The premier program was designed to allow participants and coaches seek a more competitive experience to play other competitive teams during the regular season at a lower cost than club (select) soccer programs, while also having the ability to participate in local club tournaments.  The competitive team base will consist of organizations outside of the standard recreation league offerings and all season games will be played in the local area.

How Teams Will Be Formed:

Premier teams will be formed by the division coaches.  There is not a draw process for the premier program which allows players the opportunity to continue to play and grow together as a team from season to season, in most cases. In order to fill open positions within teams all interested players, new and returning, will be expected to participate in tryouts in order to keep our teams competitive within the league.

Fees:

RFC registration fees will be slightly higher than recreational fees and will be used to pay for the following items:  Player cards, insurance, uniform, trainer (optional at coach's discretion), tournament(s), Miami Whitewater Soccer Complex practice field rental fees, Miami Whitewater Soccer Complex game rental fees, and referee fees. Parents will pay the regular registration fee at sign-ups and additional fees will be collected at a later date by the premier coaches after teams are formed and the above details are finalized.

Additional Information:

Games are scheduled primarily on Saturdays and Sundays with some scheduled during the week, if necessary.  Teams are asked to be flexible due to other premier teams playing in mid-season tournaments. Tournament selection is up to the discretion of the coaches.  These could be “Select” tournaments played against other teams in our local area. A team may look for sponsors or hold fundraisers to help offset the tournament fees.Tournaments may be held out of town requiring the extra expense of food and lodging; a coach must have the approval from his or her team before a tournament is scheduled out of town.
