Lampeter-Strasburg Youth Soccer Travel Teams Tryouts

You are to try out for your year below and if asked, will also do the next older year case by case)

(DOB ages and teams are new for Fall - they are by year so read the chart below - date range at bottom of this page. Whatever age you are in this date range, that is your team age bracket!)

Fall 2024/Spring 2025  LSYS  Travel Teams Tryouts for teams U09-10-11-12 below
**Uniform Fitting will be at beginning of tryouts, meet at Pavilion for fitting little earlier for ALL players.

(players can register mid April (a mass email will go out when registration opens with details on how) and no later than 48 hours prior player age date below, verify dates and times below 24 hours before and 1 hr prior to each date for changes due to weather, etc.)

dates may change due to the weather so please confirm the day of, we may have to run things past the school year if weather cancels dates.

 older = These teams will not play Fall youth soccer league due to school soccer, please register for RECREATIONAL PLAY if not doing school.

1. Players should bring a size 4 soccer ball (size 5 for U13 players and older), water, shin guards and their enthusiasm. (we will have a few extra balls for those that do not have)
2. No LSYS travel or rec uniforms or other any other organization's uniform, or any jewelry will be permitted to be worn during tryouts. Also, please do not bring travel bags.
3. No payments will be accepted on the night of try-outs.  Registration is not complete until payment is received online by credit card.
4. Please do not bring photos or birth certificates on the night of try-outs. Photos and birth certificates will need to be uploaded into the online file to complete registration.
   
5. All travel players will need travel uniforms to pay approximately $115 for their new travel team uniform. Uniforms shall be used for two calendar years that begins for Fall 2023 and ends with Spring 2025 (new player online uniform ordering will be provided separate from registration).
6.  There will be samples at tryouts so you can get an idea, best to look at when cycle expires for sizing for player growth.
7. Teams will be formed and players notified by early June after school is out.
8. For U9-U12 players, LSYS Travel soccer should be considered a two-season commitment (Fall & Spring), case by case so ask.
9. Players not placed on a Travel Team will be automatically refunded the travel fee and assigned to a recreational team but will need to re register for REC and pay those Rec fees at that registration.
10. Please submit requests to the contrary in writing to an LSYS Board Member.  All players who do not make a team are usually notified by personal phone calls .
