As many of you may be aware Coaches Maegen & Marieke will be leaving us this May for a new adventure in Europe. Excitingly they have both signed contracts to play professional soccer in Sweden!
New Canaan FC DOC Luke Green said:
“We are extremely thankful for all their efforts and dedication throughout their time with the New Canaan FC program. We are proud of their growth as people and coaches in their 7 years with us. Their hard working, positive attitudes and commitment to all programs will surely be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of their coaching - players, parents and fellow coaches alike.
Since playing at the University of Bridgeport, and winning a National Title, their dream has been to continue playing and we are excited for them to begin their next step. We are sad to see them go but hope it is more of a see you soon, and they return to the US sometime in the future.”
