High School Mentoring Opportunities

East Granby In-Town Soccer Program seeks interested high school students who are interested in coaching, mentoring, and supporting players at the Kindergarten , First, and Second grade level. Volunteers will work collaboratively with coaches, parents, and players to ensure that the players are having fun while engaging in soccer drills and small sided games.
This volunteer opportunity can work to fulfill the required community service hours needed for graduation requirements.
Interested candidates can contact Jill DeVane @ [email protected] or Justin Drago @ [email protected]

Parent Volunteers/Coaches

Parents are essential to player development both on and off the field.

At the in-town level, parent involvement is critical in helping younger players feel comfortable on the field. Head coaches may ask parents to volunteer and participate in order to help their child engage in drills and activities. No experience is necessary.

EGSA encourages parents to volunteer as a head or assistant coach at the travel level. No experience is necessary. The board has ample resources to help with skill and play development. Volunteer coaches are critical in fielding teams.  If interested in coaching, please contact Jill DeVane @ [email protected]
