Brighton Youth Baseball Association (BYBA) offers a recreational league for players ages 4-12.

  • 7-8 year old (6 year old old may play up - see rules)

• Kid Pitch 10U
  • 9-10 year old (8 year old may play up - see rules)
    • Fee $200
    • Includes a jersey, pants, and hat
    • Post Season tournament - Guarantee 3 games
    • 10-15 games depending on tournament
    • There will be 1 umpire for each game.

Online registration opens December 1 , 2020 and will be open until March 15th.  After March 15th, a late fee of $25 will be added,  all late registrants may be put on a wait list and will only be placed/billed if there are openings.

Players may play up one age group from their age as of April 30th of current year...if the child is 7 on or before April 30th, they may play either 7yr old or 8yr old, etc.

All games will be played in Brighton.

All fees must be paid prior to child placed on a team.

Teams are formed in early April and practices will begin mid April.

Game schedules will not be posted until mid April.

Games will begin in late April, game times generally at 5:30 pm or 7:00 pm, but may change slightly as needed. T-Ball games will be played on Saturdays.

There will be a maximum of 2 games a week during regular season per team, subject to makeup games due to weather. 

Typically there is one or two week night games and an occasional Saturday game.

Rain outs will be rescheduled for all games except T-Ball.  T-Ball games will ONLY be rescheduled if the total amount of games played falls below eight.

Depending on the coach of each team, there will be a maximum of 2 practices per week for each team during the regular season.  Practices are generally scheduled between 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

BYBA umpires are paid and are typically 14-15 year old kids that play in the competitive league.
