BYBA teams up with Elmwood Cemetery for Wreaths Across America Ceremony

Wreaths Across America

Each year the 2nd Saturday of December is recognized as National Wreaths Across America Day. This is a day to Remember and Honor the veterans that have served our great country. It is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,600 locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

This year the Elmwood Cemetery in Brighton, CO will be part of this ceremony. They have asked the Brighton Youth Baseball Association to provide volunteers on Sunday, December 8th from 12pm to 3pm to help mark over 300 veterans graves that will have a wreath placed on them during the Wreaths Across America Ceremony on Saturday, December 14th. Anyone that would like to help needs to go to the following link and sign up so we know how many volunteers we will be able to provide.
