NCYGB 2025-2026 Season Registration

Registration for the NCYGB 2025-2026 season is now open. Registration will close on September 10, 2025. The registration fee is $10. The season fees will not be charged until/unless you are placed on a team and accept your placement after tryouts.

Tryouts will be held at Shaker High School as follows:

Saturday, September 13th:
Pee Wee (3rd/4th Grade): 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
CDGBL Biddy (5th/6th Grade Travel): 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
CDGBL Junior (7th/8th Grade Travel): 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Sunday, September 21st:
Pee Wee (3rd/4th Grade): 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
CDGBL Biddy (5th/6th Grade Travel): 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
CDGBL Junior (7th/8th Grade Travel): 12:15 PM - 1:45 PM
CYO Biddy and CYO Junior (5th - 8th Grade Recreational): 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM

5th - 8th grade players who are not interested in being considered for a travel team should only attend the CYO tryout/assessment session on September 21st and should not attend a tryout on September 13th. These players should register for the CYO Only option during the registration process. All 3rd/4th graders should attend both Pee Wee (3rd/4th Grade) sessions!

2025-26 North Colonie Youth Girls Basketball

Please register for the division your participant is interested in trying out for. After tryouts CDGBL (travel) teams and CYO (recreational)teams will be formed at all levels based on participants grade level and skill level. Descriptions of each division are listed below to assist you with selecting the best level for your participant .

Players who tryout for a CDGBL team and are not selected will have the option to accept an offer on a CYO team at their age/grade level. If your participant is not interested in participating on a CDGBL team, you have the option to register them for CYO. If registered for CYO, there will be an assessment session instead of a tryout in an effort to create competitive CYO teams at each level.

The commitment level for CDGBL teams is greater than the commitment level for CYO teams. All CDGBL players should be prepared to practice at least two weeknights per week and have games on Saturdays/Sundays during the season. CYO participants will have practice 1-2 nights per week and will have one game on Saturday or Sunday each week.

The tryout fee for all divisions is $10 and will be charged at checkout.

CDGBL Division - Season Participation Fee (due after being selected on team and accepting) - $350

Options:

Junior CDGBL: Register for this division if your participant is in 7^th or 8^th grade and interested in trying out for the CDGBL team. The Junior CDGBL teams are the program’s most advanced teams. One Junior “A” and one Junior “B” CDGBL team will be formed with the top 7^th and 8^th graders who tryout at this level.

Biddy CDGBL: The Biddy CDGBL teams are the program's most competitive 5th/6th grade teams. One Biddy “A” and one Biddy “B” CDGBL team will be formed with the top 5^th and 6^th graders who tryout at this level.

Pee Wee: 3rd/4th graders. One Pee Wee CDGBL team will be formed and multiple Pee Wee CYO teams will be formed based on number of participants and coach availability. The Season Participation Fee for those selected to play on the Pee Wee CDGBL team is $350 and the fee for CYO participants is $275. This fee will be assessed after teams are formed and you accept your position on the team.

CYO Division - Season Participation Fee (due after being placed on team and accepting) - $275

Options:

Junior CYO: 7th and 8th grade players not interested in the more competitive CDGBL team or who are not selected for a CDGBL team will have the opportunity to play on a Junior level CYO (recreational team). Teams will be formed based on number of participants, coach and gym availability.

Biddy CYO: 5th and 6th grade players not interested in the more competitive CDGBL team or who are not selected for a CDGBL team will have the opportunity to play on a Biddy level CYO (recreational team). Teams will be formed based on number of participants and coach availability.

Season Fees are listed below but upon registering you will only be charged the $10.00 tryout fee. You will pay the full season fee once you have been placed on a team.
