The Schuylkill Valley Football & Cheerleading Association (SVFCA) is a proud, volunteer-run organization dedicated to supporting the youth of our community. Open to boys and girls ages 4 through 12 (Pre-K through 7th Grade), we offer flag football, tackle football, and cheerleading through the Berks Area Youth Football League (BAYFL) and Berks Area Youth Cheerleading League (BAYCL).

At SVFCA, we believe youth sports are about more than just the game—they're about building character, confidence, and lifelong friendships. Our athletes develop physically, mentally, and emotionally through structured, supportive programs designed to teach not only skills, but also values.

Our flag football program introduces younger athletes to the fundamentals of the sport in a non-contact setting. It’s the perfect entry point for kids to learn teamwork, agility, and football basics while having fun and staying active.

Our tackle football program builds on that foundation by teaching competitive gameplay, discipline, and leadership in a safe, well-coached environment. Players benefit from increased physical fitness, stronger work ethic, and the rewards of teamwork.

Our cheerleading program brings energy, spirit, and enthusiasm to the sidelines and beyond. Cheerleaders learn stunts, routines, and chants that promote school and team spirit, while also building strength, coordination, and confidence. Many of our teams go on to compete and place at the local level.
