Head Coach Information

CJFC head coaches will be required to pass a background check SafeSport training. Carl Junction High School coaches will be doing a coaching clinic. Further information to come.

The background check will be paid by CJFC and their child’s registration fee for CJFC will be waived.

US Soccer age divisions are set each Fall and are based on the the player's age on January 1 during the Fall-Spring soccer year.

Here are the age divisions for the 2021-2022 Fall & Spring Seasons:

U6- Born in 2016 & 2017 and they play 4v4
U8- Born in 2014 & 2015 and they play 4v4
U10- Born in 2012 & 2013 and they play 7v7
U12- Born in 2010 & 2011 and they play 9v9
U15- Born in 2007, 2008, & 2009 and they play 11v11

A Coaches meeting will be held at the Carl Junction Community Center following the end of registration.

• Intro to Coaching video series which covers all the basics of coaching soccer. These are good for new and experienced coaches alike.
• Soccer Drive has numerous practice plans available for free with diagrams and videos to explain the drills. There are also many skills and training videos available.
