1st Practice Info

Players and Parents:
I am excited to get the season started. Please plan to attend our orientation session on Tuesday, August 22nd at Quail Creek Park. Starting time will be 5:45 pm. This will be an introduction to our training program for the parents as well as the players. We have a fun-tastic group of 36 kids that will train as a group on Saturday mornings, at 8 am, just before their 25 minute game at 8:30am. During the orientation we will go through a normal training session. You will see it takes no special skill except a willingness to let the kids have fun, allow them to make mistakes and find success. I will lead the parents/players in 4- 5 minute activities, then the kids will play 2- 5min games. After the orientation session we will meet briefly to make sure we cover any questions and the necessary logistics of handling the trainings and games. Please have your player wear shin guards, bring water and a #3 ball that is properly inflated (you can barely press the sides with your two thumbs). You might also make sure they have snacks for after our orientation session ;-). Training will be on Saturday morning’s at 8 am at Anamax Park. Looking forward to meeting you all on Tuesday. Please find me, I will be wearing a white floppy-sided hat, and will have a training area prepared.
