Matthew joined Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens in October, 2015. He brings nearly a decade of nonprofit management experience with some of this city's most dynamic institutions. He is passionate about education and has dedicated his career to supporting organizations that serve youth.
Prior to joining the Club, Matthew served as the Director of Development for Kids Creative. He improved the organization's fundraising and marketing capacity in support of afterschool and summer programs that serve 1,800 NYC students.
Previously, Matthew led government and community affairs for Lincoln Center, the world's largest performing arts center, during its $1.2B redevelopment. He raised millions for the center's arts education programs and helped bring free performances to audiences citywide.
Matthew began his career in and around City Hall including work as an advocate for nonprofit organizations.
He is a lifelong New Yorker with family roots in Astoria that go back more than 30 years.
