Volunteers Needed !
No experience is necessary.
Never fear though we will train and mentor you. Volunteer opportunities range from Board & Committee positions ,or be a coach, referee or a team parent.
Open Committee Positions include
40th Year Celebration - we are looking for a group of volunteers to work with the Board and other community groups to plan an 2017 Fall Season Kick Off Celebration as AYSO will celebrate its 40th year in the community
Marketing - works with the Board to create flyers, banners, and news letters for the Tierrasanta Times,
Fundraising - as a non profit we work to keep our costs as low as we can, and group would be tasked to work with local merchants to get either get materials or financial assistance to help grow our program.
College Scholarships - AYSO gives back to the community by providing scholarships to High School Seniors that have played and volunteered with us. We need someone to help us keep the materials current, track the applications and attend the aware ceremonies.
Open Board Positions include
Safety Director - works with field setup team to ensure goals and equipment are setup and used properly, Works with the field marshall's to address quality of play issues (gopher holes, sprinkler issues, etc). Works with the CVPA and Regional Board to ensure that player injuries are addressed correctly and timely.
CVPA - Child, Volunteer, Protection Advocate.
Works with players, parents, and Volunteers to ensure a safe environment for the players, the volunteers and the families. Reviews all volunteer applications and works with the Area, Section and National office to ensure all volunteers are properly trained and that they qualified to work with the players.
Regional Commissioner
Responsible for working with the Board to implement National, Sectional and Area directives to ensure that the youth of Tierrasanta receive a world class soccer experience.
