All Volunteers who work directly with the children (Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Parents, Team Volunteers and Umpires) must register on the PGP website as a volunteer and complete all the Child Protection requirements before they can volunteer. The Child Protection requirements are set in place by Little League and the State of Pennsylvania and enforced by our local chapter.
Child protections are always mandatory. Every league must complete required background checks, ensure Abuse Awareness Training is completed, follow applicable reporting laws and Little League policies if concerns arise, and comply with any additional state child protection requirements.
Complete the JDP background check that will be emailed to you in a seperate email.
