At the November general meeting, the following By-law amendments were proposed. They will be voted on at the January general meeting as that would be at least 45 days after being posted.

5.7 BAYSA will expand the Board of Directors to have Two Members-at-Large. They shall be titled Member-at-Large A and Member-at-Large B. They will fall after Secretary in the authority hierarchy since they are 1-year terms. The duties shall be general in nature. These roles are designed to offer support to the rest of the Board so to encourage more support and volunteerism. Duties can range from some of the following operational support, volunteer support, fundraising, concessions backup, to other items recommended by the rest of the Board.

5.1 All board members are to be voted in at the General Monthly Meeting or special meeting to take place between the dates of November 1 and December 31 of each calendar year. In even years, the President, Registrar, and Secretary shall be voted on to serve the following odd and even year. In odd years, the Vice President and Treasurer shall be voted on to serve the following even and odd years. If positions are vacant, they can be voted on throughout the year.

The two Member-at-Large positions shall be for one-year terms.

In case of a tie on a vote, the highest member of the authority hierarchy shall cast the deciding vote. The order is President, Vice President, Treasurer, Registrar, Secretary, Members-at-Large.
