How are teams formed?

The St. Peter Soccer Club board forms teams based on the number of players available at each level, the experience of the players at each level, and the number of coaches at each level. Players may be moved up into a higher age group, but may not be moved down. We are a relatively small club with limited resources.  We do our best to form teams so that each player has the opportunity to compete at a level that allows them to have fun and develop.

How long is the season?

  • The spring / summer season consists of 10-12 games to be played from late April through June.  The total number of league games depends on the number of teams in each bracket.
  • The Fall season consists of 6 games to be played from early September through mid October.

Do I have to fundraise?

SPSC is an all-volunteer organization. To support our programs, each family participating in the spring/summer season is required to volunteer for one club event per calendar year. See the Volunteer page to read more about it.

Is there financial aid available?

The St. Peter Soccer Club has a limited number of scholarships for families that qualify for the school free/reduced meal program.  Availability varies from year-to-year and season-to-season.  Email [email protected] for more information.

What equipment is needed to play?

Players need a blue jersey for home games, a white jersey for away games, blue shorts, blues socks, white socks, shin guards, and shoes. More details and Iinstructions on how to purchase a uniform kit may be found on our Uniform page
