General Information:Cost: Registration for 2025-2026 season is $125. There are no additional-required costs for uniforms or refs for this league.
Practices: See the information below for each division.
Playing Time: Rec league games are stopped halfway through each quarter and subs are put in. So every player should play at least half of the minutes in every quarter. Overtime rules might be different for each division.
Games: See the information below for each division.
Post Season: Each division grades 3 and above will have a post season. Every team in each division makes the post season, some post season tournament formats are different due to number of teams in the league, gym time and other factors. Post season approximate timeline is listed in the information for each division.
Rec Divisions and more detailed information:Pre-K / Kindergarten (coed)- Commitment 1 time per week on Saturday Mornings at Cawley Middles School- Starting November 22
Practices and mini competitions for athletes - With the help of Cawley coaching staff and Cawley boys and girls players, athletes will engage in skill work like dribbling, passing and shooting. They will also do some fun games and activities to help try and improve these skills. The program begins after Thanksgiving on Saturday mornings at 8:30 at Cawley Middle School. The program will run for about 6-8 Saturdays and ends early in February-
Scheduled Dates- November 22 (8:30-9:30am), December 6 (8:30-9:30am), 13 (11-12pm), 20 (8:30-9:30am), January 10 (8:30-9:30am), 17 (8:30-9:30am), 24 (8:30-9:30am)
1st and 2nd Grade (coed) - Commitment 1 time per week on Saturday Mornings at Underhill School- (player evaluation required to make teams, even though it's a non-competitive league, we still strive for balanced teams).
Two teams will share the basketball court - coaches will manage a 30-40 minutes practice, and then both teams will play either a 3v3 or 4v4 game for the remainder of the gym time- Introduction to the need for a continual dribble, free throw shooting, out of bounds expectation, and how to properly play defense-
Boys 3rd/4th/5th: Commitment 2 times per week (player evaluation required to make teams, we strive for balanced teams).
There will be an evaluation day held for all athletes that will be posted in the Evaluation and Tryout Schedule (evaluations typically occur in early November after fall sports have completed). After evaluations, coaches will draft their team, players will be notified. Once teams are organized each team will practice 1-hour to 90 minutes long during the week at either Underhill or Memorial School's Gym, the second day will be a game on Saturday at Memorial-Times of the games range from 9AM-3PM depending on number of teams and number of games on that day. Practices and games will start after Thanksgiving. The season typically ends before February school vacation.
Boys 6th/7th/8th: Commitment 2 times per week (player evaluation required to make teams, we strive for balanced teams).

Boys HS: (This division is dependent on having enough players, some years we have enough and others we don't). This is not an internal league where we only play Hooksett teams and at Hooksett Gyms. More information will be posted at a later date.
Girls 3/4: (This division is dependent on having enough players, some years we have enough and others we don't). This is not an internal league where we only play Hooksett teams and at Hooksett Gyms. More information will be posted at a later date.
