Co-ed WCHSA Ultimate Frisbee is composed of players age 14 and above.
We will be emphasizing Christian character, athletic development, teamwork, strategic play, and most importantly, upholding the "Spirit of the Game" principle, where players self-referee and prioritize sportsmanship over solely winning, all while competing against other teams in tournaments.
Current registration fees are: $100.00
Required Equipment: Cleats (soccer, lacrosse, football, or ultimate frisbee. No metal!) Frisbee gloves (Friction or Layout brand) are optional.
Practices: The season will include an indoor portion (Tuesdays from 1 - 3 pm at Hartford Rec, starting Jan. 27th)
An outdoor portion (location and times TBD, practices will be once weekly from March - May).
Tournaments: The season will culminate in a couple of Saturday tournaments, one at the end of May, one earlier May. We will also have scrimmages once a month from March-May. In the community-oriented spirit of Ultimate Frisbee, registrations will remain open for much of the season, so that the team can grow through friendships.
Absence from Team Activities: Players are expected to support their team throughout the season at both practices and at games.

Parent Requirements: We expect our parents to participate in our organization by striving to act in a Christ-like manner. Additionally, our organization is made up entirely of volunteers (including our coaches). It is critical to our organization’s success that parents give of their time and talents by proactively volunteering in WCHSA planning, programs, coaching, and activities.
