Instructional softball is a fun-filled program meant to introduce the game to young girls. Running around and doing cartwheels are still a part of this game! Parents: We'll need your help to keep our future ball players focused on the game and not the butterflies, so please don't hesitate to sign up as a head or assistant coach! We are encouraging fun and learning here. Instructional teams play coach-guided games after a half hour practice to make it easier for parents to manage schedules. We sometimes travel to surrounding towns who also offer an Instructional program and in turn, have those towns come to Sturbridge.

Sturbridge Tots is a great way to get your 3-year-old or 4-year-old daughter introduced to the game! No equipment required, but they can bring a bat and glove if they have one! Each player will get a t-shirt and certificate of completion.

This league will meet on 4 Sundays over the spring for 45 minutes per session. Dates TBD. The girls will get a chance to run the bases, hit off a tee, and get some softball-themed exercise!
