Sturbridge Storm is a Class C competitive summer tournament softball league for divisions 8U-12U, and Class B competitive summer tournament softball league for 14U. In 2025, Storm will be entering its fourth year as a part of Sturbridge Girls Softball League.
Sturbridge Storm is for players who are looking to advance their softball training and experiences. Tryouts are required for each age division, and not all players will make the team. The goal of Sturbridge Storm is for our head coaches to field the best team possible. This may result in unequal playing time among the players who make the team. This team of All Stars will work hard throughout the year with indoor and outdoor practices and scrimmages, to gear out for the summer season. Throughout the winter players will work on conditioning, batting, glove work, specialties, and have access to our pitching and catching specialists.
Players and families can expect extra practices, extra commitments. Weekends on hot fields. Enhanced training. New skills. Higher level competitions. Travel. And the continuation of what was built just a few years ago. Sturbridge Storm has built quite a reputation in just a few short years, and we continue to raise the bar to build excellent athletes who value strong team connections that display endurance, agility, and high softball IQ.
